ABOUT US

Preparing God’s People to Be Sent Well

Where Hope is Planted & Lives Are Changed

Equipping the Church With Biblical Farming Tools for Global Mission Work

Sow Hope Farms is a faith-based ministry sowing hope and fostering transformation by preparing missionaries, churches, nonprofit leaders, and agricultural interns to steward the land wisely and serve with integrity wherever God sends them.
Sow Hope Farms builds on nearly two decades of experience in teaching the Farming God's Way approach to ministry, turning hands-on training into long-term impact by preparing missionaries and ministry leaders to operate with excellence.

Our Mission

To equip missionaries, churches, organizations, and agricultural interns with Farming God’s Way through intensive, hands-on training, preparing them to apply, teach, and multiply this model as a tool for faithful stewardship and gospel advance.

Our Vision

A flourishing global Church equipped with practical, biblical tools to restore land, steward resources wisely, and serve faithfully in every context God calls them.

MEET OUR FOUNDER

Cultivating Places for Faith to Take Root

Klint Ostermann is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Sow Hope Farms. Klint brings over a decade of experience equipping underserved communities through sustainable farming, discipleship, and practical life skills. He answered God’s call to leave the corporate world and return to his agricultural roots in 2014 when Klint and his wife, Vicki, began serving in Uganda, training thousands of farmers while weaving biblical principles into sustainable practices that restore soil, strengthen food security, and break cycles of poverty.

These same principles shape the vision of Sow Hope Farms today. Klint leads the organization’s strategy, curriculum, partnerships, and outreach. His ongoing work reflects the heart of the mission, to cultivate places where faith can take root, people can flourish, and the land can be redeemed for the glory of God.

What We Do

Training & Preparation for Faithful Service

We partner with churches, mission organizations, and local leaders to provide agricultural training that is biblically rooted, operationally sound, and transferable across cultures. We believe effective ministry must be locally applied and carefully prepared for, not improvised.
